What….NO LIMES???
We headed to the Real Canadian Superstore yesterday evening and part of the trip wasn’t so super. We were looking for limes to make One of Seven’s Perfect Margarita and the had none!
Can you imagine…Saturday evening during the summer & they have no limes. This little bundle of citrus joy must be a leading last minute weekend emergency purchase and they don’t have any.
Now we will have to do some hunting this morning.
Dang, Dude!! I totally sympathize, as we found the most pitiful bunch of sorry-ass limes yesterday (for the shrimp — again!) at the Canmore Safeway. Sucks to be (in need of) a lime, I guess!! Did friggin’ Martha Stewart just publish some crazy lime digest or something and the whole continent’s gone nuts for our favourite and most essential citrus??
Fortunately, the shrimp worked out *just fine* and all were pleased…! Lucky me!!
