The folks at Epicurious.com and their print sister Bon Appetit have launched a great event series called WINE.DINE.DONATE
The idea here is to visit one of the WINE.DINE.DONATE events, or host your own in an effort to generate donations for Second Harvest. If you are going to host your own event, they will even provide the menu.
While none of the events are here in the Toronto area, I think we will host a party soon with the same idea and donate to a local food bank. I think it’s a great idea.

Awesome idea and I like the fact that Epicurious is providing menu ideas on-line (although the current menu isn’t getting good reviews)! Another great concept: the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, in conjunction with KitchenAid, has had a similar programme in place for several years….
