Howdy. I'm a bit more of an accidental foodie - left to my own devices, well it would just plain be ugly. My better half has gone through cooking school and has worked in professional kitchens, so lucky me. I'm learning as a result, and I do love to cook - but, I'm a creature of habit and I like things to be really simple. My contribution generally comes in on the wine side of things - I have keen interest in pairing wine and food. I'm not a sommelier but wish I could be - it's that damn work thing that gets in the way. I really do love learning about wine and spirits and challenging conventional thinking. And, the testing of new quaffables is never a bad thing. Cheers!
