A quick search of the internet looking for buttermilk dressing brings up many versions, but very few actually include the yummy goodness of bacon. This one should satisfy your cravings!
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayo
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup freshly cooked bacon bits
Whisk the whole bunch together and then put it in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight to allow the flavours to combine. In other words, the time will allow the bacon to take over!
A drizzle over iceberg wedges makes for a nice, light side salad. If you cut a whole head of lettuce into 8 wedges, they can be eaten without cutlery!
